Josh H. Chaney, PE
Project Manager
Josh Chaney is a licensed professional engineer (PE) who joined SSE after graduating from the University of South Carolina. Since joining SSE, he has developed experience in stair and rail design, miscellaneous steel design, steel connection design, and building design. Josh has also helped develop numerous calculation programs for stair framing, erection engineering, connection design, and miscellaneous structural components. Josh served as a Project Engineer at SSE for four years before being promoted to Project Manager.
As Project Manager, Josh oversees many of SSE's miscellaneous steel projects while continuing to lead the design and management of stair and rail systems for clients across a variety of industries. Notable projects include Amazon Distribution Centers, The Ohio State University Arts Building, Assembly Studios in Atlanta, and large data centers.
Josh grew up in Ninety Six, SC and currently lives in Lexington, SC with his wife Kayleigh and dogs Josie and Ellie. He values spending time with his family and enjoys traveling around the world, football games at USC, and golfing. He is a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Lexington, SC.
